  Built in an old service station, Local 111 is a surprisingly affordable for a farm-to-table restaurant with such innovative and high quality offerings. Its chef, Jo, has been featured on a couple of high profile cooking shows, and the rest of the staff is very professional and competent with a constantly changing menu that ensures fresh local ingredients. Portions are medium-sized, beers on tap have been carefully chosen, and the staff is well familiar with the wine selections which are quality. Liquor is not allowed, due to local regulations regarding proximity to churches, but they make some delicious Soju cocktails as well. Outdoor seating is cozy and well lit by christmas style lights at night, and the indoor dining leans toward sleek and modern, though not so much that you wouldn't feel comfortable going there in jeans and a t-shirt. Love the fact that this restaurant is just down the street from me, in the otherwise unassuming town of Philmont. Make reservations if you plan to sit at a table inside, it does fill up. The bar and outdoor areas are first come first serve.
